When you reply to a message that you have received, does your reply show up in your send folder?

Only if you check the checkbox down towards the bottom that says "Add a copy of this message to my sent items folder"

Only if you click the box marked- Add a copy of this message to my sent items folder - its at the bottom of the box your typing the message in.
