Not sure,I have never used an XLT.Can you turn your discrimination off,or do you have a relic mode on it??HH,Tom

it does have a relic mode. it does not have a plain all metal that i know of. however mixed mode is when one ear in the headphone has allmetal, the other has discrimination on it. so ill probably go w/ either of those two

Another way to go to allmetal is to just turn ur discrimination nob down to 0. Ull be diggin everything, but u might find some iron goodies! Good luck!

Yeah, no question there.. if you have access to a gold mine.. set your discrimination to 0 and toggle over to "All Metals"!

Hiya Dan,

I have to agree with LodiTom. The all metal mode (aka relic mode on the XLT) is the best way to go. I love relic hunting with my DFX and thats the mode I hunt in and get the best results. :)
