Title: On The Legality Of Lots...

Hi all. I was rained-out of my trip to Lake Isabella this last weekend and have been eyeballing the ol' neighborhood here for some places to MD. As I was driving my son home from school today I noticed that a nearby vacant lot that has been sitting empty for a number of years (used to have a little market on it). It is surrounded by a chain-link fence, but the gate was swung wide open and there were no signs posted anywhere. Not sure if this would be illegal or not. I thought I would do a trash pick-up while detecting it to be a good Samaritan and to use as leverage if any problems arose.

WWYD (What Would Y'all Do)?

Open gate, no signs...Pack a couple of bottle caps or some crumpled up trash of some sort with you to "prove" the nobleness of your purpose (and all anyone will probably do is ask you to leave anyway).
