Besides Midwest Refineries can anyone recommend another presious metals buyer ? A freind asked me if I knew of buyers and I have never used any of these companies yet , so I wanted to give him a couple of choices . Thank you for any help and comments . ED

Just google or yahoo "scrap gold". I pasted today's scrap gold prices at goldkit dot com.
Payments are made in pennyweight (DWT). If I remember correctly 20 pennyweight equal an oz. You have to have at least 15 oz's to deal. Using the chart below If you had 15 oz's of 14k, they would pay $264.80 an oz. Todays prices are somewhere around 610.00 an oz for spot/24k. I like to hord gold myself, but I like to spend green paper.
