Kuger,
When you post a message (like the one I am answering), if you scroll down to the bottom,
you'll see a button marked "choose file". Click on it and navigate to the picture in your
computer and select it. When finished, click on "Add reply".

Hi,
I am not able to post pictures, saw what Rudy said to do and that has not worked for me. I have the size of the pics small enough and have posted pictures on other forums, do I need permission from J.K. or just need to enable something I have overlooked.
Thanks,
timberline

Do NOT hit the "preview post" button at the bottom of the reply window. When you have the picture file (.jpg) in the browse window just hit the "add reply" button. The files should be around 65K. B)

Kueger I wouldn't bother using the posting feature on this site. You have to have really tiny file sizes which usually kills the quality and detail within the picture. Try an outside site like Flickr or Imageshack and then embed the picture into your thread. That way you can have large pictures with great quality. I use Imageshack and can keep my pictures at the 1.5MB limit, that way they look great here.

WOW you guys make it sound so easy !!!!!

The only problem with 1.5 MB pictures is that they take forever to load on dialup and eat up a lot of space on the forum! B)

I could understand the dial up concern (I can't believe people still use it though) but it shouldn't eat up forum space here since it's hosted on an outside server.

Hi from the rural central sierra mountains. Some of us use dial-up because that's all that is available to us. I would like to get DSL when it becomes available here, supposed to be soon if the telco is on schedule. Was not all that long ago I was on a party line (maybe that was before your time). Seems I posted some pictures on this forum some time ago, memory is not so good anymore. I was told the first thing to go is the memory, but darn if I can remember what was next. Oh well everyday is a new adventure, senior moment!!
We really enjoy this forum and hope guys like you will keep posting beautiful pictures of your finds and adventures while detecting.
