I was just wondering what the best way would be to find out if someone in the metal detecting family found a wedding ring I lost at Seacliff Beach in Aptos, Ca.

thx

A little more information would help. When did you loose it? Where did you loose it-dry sand, wet sand or in the water? You might get more response if you post this on the main forum.

(I had a lady ask me one time on that beach if I could find a ring she lost 25 years ago.) B)

yea... because hundreds of rings are lost at beaches a day... if not thousands. and ive hered of some guys finding 15 rings in one day... most detectorists just sell them for their weight in gold... so it might be melted down already...

Sometimes offering a reward will also motivate the finder in checking the inventory of recovered rings.
