Because of problems this is my first posting. Thursday 8/9/07 my first find for the day was a nice mans 14k gold ring, followed by two Merc's 1929s and 1941p & the ever present Wheat pennies (9). The first posting that I tried to post did not go throgh, so I thought I would post my find from 7/16/07 found !911s Barber quarter, 1899s Barber dime plus 1944s Merc. plus 6 wheat penneies the oldest a 1916s.

Hello Bibleman!! Welcome to the forum.....Mike(ratman) told me who you are. When I saw your barber finds, I knew it was you.

You should put your future posts in the "California Metal Detecting" area, not this area. We all want to see pics, you know, especially of the Barbers and your ring finds, or any other kind of treasure. Being able to see your finds on this forum is just "priceless".

Forumites, this guy is a great, super-sharp, md'er. He's been silently tearing it up down here in S. CA. I've had the privilege of hunting with him a few times now, and he's the "real deal".

Looking forward to your future posts (pics, pics, please). You've made some great finds.
